Access

  • By taxi: A ride from/to the Airport takes 20 mins off peeks and costs about 30-40 EUR. A ride from/to any train station takes 15 mins off peeks and costs about 20 EUR.

  • By public transport: From Brussels international Airport, take the train to either Brussels Central or South stations (rides every 20 mins + 20 mins trip). This train is in service from 05:30 till nearly midnight. A one-way ticket costs 5,10 EUR second class and 6,70 EUR first class. The train station is located in the basement (level -1) of the terminal building itself (for more information see here). From Brussels Central station, take bus 71 (direction Delta) to the university (get off at the tram stop 'Jeanne'). From the South rail station (Gare du midi), take the metro (line 2, direction Simonis Elisabeth) and get off at the metro stop 'Louise'. From there, take tram 94 (direction Hermann-Debroux) and get off at the tram stop 'Jeanne'. You can also take tram 3 until its terminal stop 'Churchill' and continue by taking tram 23 (direction Heysel) until the tram stop 'Buyl'. From the North rail station (Gare du Nord) take tram 25 direction 'Boondael' and get off at the tram stop 'Jeanne' (40 minutes trip). You can also check the public transport system site . One-way tickets are sold on buses and trams, as well as in the railway stations and at automatic distributors (Bootik) at the cost of 1,70 EUR (2,00 EUR on the vehicle). Besides, 5-ride tickets (7,30 EURO) and 10-ride tickets (12.10 EUR) are sold in the railway stations, at automatic distributors and in some newspapers shops---e.g. those at Av. Buyl 12 and Av. Buyl 80.
