Welcome to my homepage. I completed my Ph.D at IRIDIA, CoDE, Université Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium under the supervision of Prof. Marco Dorigo and Mauro Birattari. My research topics were swarm robotics, swarm engineering and techniques for the design and analysis of robot swarms.

I successfully completed my doctoral thesis "Formal methods for the design and analysis of robot swarms" in April 2014.

I was funded by the F.N.R.-FNRS through a FRIA fellowship from October 2010 to October 2013.

I was involved with the Swarmanoid project in which I studied techniques for collective transport and the integration of different robotic behaviors. I actively partecipated in the realization of "Swarmanoid, the movie" which won the Best Video Award at the AAAI Video Competition 2011

Before joining IRIDIA I studied computer science engineering at Politecnico di Milano, Italy. I obtained my master degree in 2009 with a thesis co-supervised by Prof. Marco Colombetti and Marco Dorigo.

My other interests are: music (bass guitar, ukulele), yoga, travelling, reading, origami, squash, movies, beer, people and technology
