Access

  • By taxi: A ride from/to the Airport takes 20 mins off peeks and costs about 30-35 EUR. A ride from/to any train station takes 15 mins off peeks and costs about 15 EUR.

  • By public transport: From the Airport, take the Airport City Express train to Brussels' Central station (every 20 mins + 20 mins trip). This train is in service from 05:30 till nearly midnight. A one-way ticket costs 2,80 EUR second class and 4,30 EUR first class. The train station is located in the basement (level -1) of the terminal building itself (for more information see here). From Brussels Central station, take bus 71 (direction Delta) to the university: U.L.B., campus Solbosh (every 15 mins + 30 mins trip). From the South rail station, take tram 23 (direction Heysel) and then 24 (direction Schaerbeek gare); from North rail station take the tram 3 (direction Churchill) to BUYL (every 15 mins + 30 mins trip), then walk up avenue Buyl to the university. (You can also find your route in Brussels by the Subway Navigator or by the STIB Journey Planner). One-way tickets are sold on buses and trams, as well as in the railway stations and at automatic distributors at the cost of 1,50 EUR. Besides, 5-ride tickets (6,70 EURO) and 10-ride tickets (11.00 EUR) are sold in the railway stations, at automatic distributors and in some newspapers shops---e.g. those at Av. Buyl 12 and Av. Buyl 80.
