Leonardo Bezerra

Pesquisador/Professor, Instituto Metrópole Digital, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Brasil

Doutor em Engenharia e tecnologia pela Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB, Bélgica), havendo defendido a tese de título "A component-wise approach to multi-objective evolutionary algorithms: from flexible frameworks to automatic design" no dia 04 de julho de 2016.

Desde 2009, pesquiso a aplicação de técnicas de inteligência artificial para a resolução de problemas de otimização. Minha tese de doutorado sobre a engenharia automática de algoritmos baseados em metaheurísticas para o contexto de otimização multiobjetivo foi escrita sob a orientação de Thomas Stützle e Manuel López-Ibáñez.

Atualmente, sou professor adjunto do Instituto Metrópole Digital da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), buscando estabelecer colaborações com pesquisadores interessados em modelos refinados de otimização, técnicas de inteligência computacional, engenharia automática de algoritmos e modelos Big Data.
