What you need to begin to work in IRIDIA

New students need to "activate" a number of resources in order to begin to work in IRIDIA.

To the system administrator of the IRIDIA's servers (currently Anders Lyhne CHRISTENSEN) you have to ask to open an account on:

• the WEB and EMAIL server (iridia.ulb.ac.be)
• the BACKUP server (fallopius.ulb.ac.be)

To the system administrator of the IRIDIA's cluster (currently Max MANFRIN) you have to ask to open an account on:

• the CLUSTER server (majorana.ulb.ac.be)

You have to subscribe to the following IRIDIA mailing lists:

• Staff
• PhD Students
• Optimization Group (if your domain of research is optimization)
• Seminars
