Abstract

This lecture is devoted to the latest development of piezoelectric motors, including the devices with several degrees-of-freedom. Some applications for precise positioning systems, laser scanning devices and general applications in Robotics are presented. Special attention is paid to the development of low cost piezoelectric actuators, including "smart" toys.
