Short description:

Automatic algorithm configurators are powerful tools for supporting the algorithm design process. The objective of this project is to create a user interface for the irace tool for automatic algorithm configuration. Irace is an automatic algorithm configuration technique that is developed at the IRIDIA laboratory. This project comprises the creation an interface to facilitate the use of irace for unexperienced users, and to provide an online graphical display and analysis of the configuration process and its final results.

Why this project?
This project will give you the oportuninty to work with the active research group at the IRIDIA lab, while also developing a tool that has a wide scope of use not only in research but also industry.

What we offer?
We will provide the necessary modules to extract the information from irace as well as scenarios to test the interface.

What we look for?
Creativity and proactivity will be very welcome! The programming language/platform for the implementation of this software project is to be defined at the start of the project. Experience developing user interfaces is preferable.
