Paper Submission: Instructions for Authors

Note: The deadline for paper submissions is May 15. The authors will first have to register to the conference in order to submit a paper.

The deadline is over. Few extra days have been allowed for exceptional cases and on the basis of specific requests.

Formatting:   All papers will undergo a blind review process, with at least three reviewers per paper.

  • Optionnaly you may prefer that the author name(s) and affiliation(s) don't appear on the paper, but be included on a separate page. In such a case, when preparing the paper, enter blank lines ( `\\' in LaTeX ) for each line of the author's names and affiliations. This is for the blind review process.
  • Please follow the formatting site instructions at the Springer-Verlag site.
  • Papers should be a maximum of fourteen (14) pages.
  • Authors are requested to submit a postscript or PDF file no later than the submission deadline.
  • Papers should be submitted via the ICARIS 2006 paper submission software (see below). You will be provided with a reference number that will be used throughout the submission process. If you do not submit to this address your paper will not be considered.

LaTeX style files and Word templates for final camera-ready copies are available from the Springer-Verlag website at http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html.

The conference will have three streams:

  • Application Stream:  For practical "AIS Success Story" applications in industry, commerce, arts, and academia.
  • Technical Stream:   For work undertaken, with clear results obtained.
  • Conceptual Stream:  For discussion papers without results, work in progress papers etc.
