Abstract

In my presentation I will begin with a summary of the MAAM project and its goals. Then, I will talk about a species of ants, the Oecophylla, which are able to build living bridges to cross wide gaps. After that, I will explain the subject of my master internship: find a model in order to simulate the building of living bridges of ants in one hand and robots in the other hand. I will show my partial results with pictures and movies and conclude with the work I have to do to complete my internship.
